First Look: Daniel Day Lewis as Abraham Lincoln
Here’s the first official image of Daniel Day Lewis in Steven Spielberg’s Abraham Lincoln biopic, Lincoln.
While one image has emerged before, this is the first opportunity to see the actor immersed in his full-get up as the 16th president of the United States.
Daniel Day Lewis is a notable method actor, and with him looking so convincing as Abraham Lincoln, it’s difficult not to see a performance filled with Oscar© potential.
The film will focus on the last four months of the president’s life, as well as his efforts to abolish slavery by constitutional measure.
Other cast members include Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Tommy Lee Jones and Sally Field.
