New Red Dawn Poster Here

The remake of John Milius’ 1984 film Red Dawn, which starred Patrick Swayze and Charlie Sheen, has been sitting on the shelf since 2009 due to MGM’s financial woes. However, it has now resurfaced with a full-on “USA! USA!”  movie poster in tow, and a release date of November 2012.

The new cast includes Chris Hemsworth (Thor, The Cabin In The Woods [which was also shelved for a couple of years]), Josh Hutcherson (The Hunger Games) and Adrianne Palicki (Legion). First time director Dan Bradley is helming – he’s previously operated numerous time as a stunt coordinator so expect some great action.

Controversially, the filmmakers have digitally changed the villains of the piece from Chinese to North Korean in a bid to improve box office numbers in the Chinese market.
