First Look: Seven Psychopaths

The first trailer for director Martin McDonagh’s follow-up to In Bruges is here, and it displays just the right amount of wackiness and humour that you would expect from the man behind the Belgian-set crime caper/comedy.

Colin Farrell is again playing the lead, one of a group of oddball LA criminals who kidnap a Shih Tzu that turns out to be worth more than its (minimal) weight in gold to its aggrieved owner (Woody Harrelson). Sam Rockwell is playing Farrell’s best friend, while Christopher Walken completes the trio. Tom Waits, Abbie Cornish and former Bond-girl Olga Kurylenko will also be appearing.

Seven Psychopaths is released in the US on 12 October, no UK release date is confirmed as of yet.
