Daniel Craig Re-Signing For More Bond?

Reports are emerging today that Daniel Craig has signed on for two more James Bond films, with latest instalment Skyfall set to hit cinemas in October.

Bond fansite MI6 is claiming that it can now confirm that Craig will be playing the British spy in at least 5 films for EON Productions, having completed Casino Royale, Quantum Of Solace and Skyfall to date.

They are also reporting that Sony Pictures will continue their relationship with the franchise, having first come on-board for Casino Royale.

Apparently they are looking to re-establish a two-year production cycle, which was the constant under previous Bonds dating back to Roger Moore. This would mean we could expect to see the 24th film of the series in 2014.

Previously, British director Christopher Nolan – whose film The Dark Knight Rises passed $1billion this week – has expressed an interest in directing the film.

Skyfall opens in the UK on 26 October.
